Behind the designRead the story
Most journeys leave open the possibility of coming back.
A black hole has a boundary beyond which that possibility ends.
The event horizon.
Cross it and no outward path leads back to the distant universe. Even light cannot carry a message home.
That boundary became the starting point for Event Horizon Transit Authority.
We imagined the journey inward as something you might find on a station wall. A route. A sequence of stops. An arrow showing the direction of service.
Far field. Photon sphere. Event horizon. Singularity.
The diagram follows the classical model of a black hole with no rotation or electric charge. Its labels carry real physics: the photon sphere at 1.5 rₛ and the horizon at rₛ.
The lettering belongs to the daily commute.
The destination does not.
INBOUND SERVICE ONLY.
RETURN SERVICE TERMINATES AT rₛ.
We chose this idea because a transit map is an everyday expression of confidence. It tells us where we are, where we can go and how the places connect.
Here that familiar language carries us to a boundary beyond which nothing returns.
A simple route.
An absolute boundary.
Beauty. Discovery. Depth.

Fabric & care
Soft, lightweight cotton for comfortable everyday wear. Our current Black and Navy Bella + Canvas shirts are 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, approximately 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²). These are lightweight shirts, not heavyweight tees.
Turn inside out. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener and bleach. Do not dry-clean. Air-dry where practical, or tumble-dry on low. Use a cool iron inside out if needed; never iron directly on the printed design.
Pre-shrunk does not mean shrink-proof. Warm or hot washing and high-heat drying can cause further shrinkage and affect the print. Follow the care label supplied with your garment.
