Too many shapes.
Too many moving parts.
Too much happening at once.
So physicists simplify.
Keep the features that matter to the question. Set the others aside. Find out how far the approximation can take you.
Sometimes that means treating an object as a point.
Sometimes it means assuming a spherical cow.
That particular tradition became the starting point for Spherical Cow Research Unit.
We imagined a research unit with a very specific specimen. A radius. A density. A few anatomical details that appear to have survived the simplification.

The density remains constant throughout the model.
The cow has become considerably easier to calculate.
ASSUME UNIFORM DENSITY.
We chose this idea because there is real judgment behind a useful simplification. Which details can wait? Which ones change the answer? At what point does the model need to become more complicated?
A good approximation gives us somewhere to begin.
Its limits tell us where to look next.
The calculation needs a manageable world.
The real one keeps its complications.

Fabric & care
Soft, lightweight cotton for comfortable everyday wear. Our current Black and Navy Bella + Canvas shirts are 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, approximately 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²). These are lightweight shirts, not heavyweight tees.
Turn inside out. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener and bleach. Do not dry-clean. Air-dry where practical, or tumble-dry on low. Use a cool iron inside out if needed; never iron directly on the printed design.
Pre-shrunk does not mean shrink-proof. Warm or hot washing and high-heat drying can cause further shrinkage and affect the print. Follow the care label supplied with your garment.
